Instruction in Doctrine provides sound doctrine in teaching, instruction and understanding of biblical truths in the Word of God.
II Timothy 3:16 - "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God' and all Scripture 'is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works.'"
The teaching of the Word of God imparts wisdom and understanding to the hearers and brings us into spiritual maturity that we may not only be hearers of the Word but doers of the Word of God.
Overflow Ministries Covenant Church Instruction, Doctrine and Equipping Department; offers several classes to assist in your spiritual growth and getting into the “Flow”.
Requirements
Complete registration
Pay appropriate fees as indicated
Complete pre-requites if indicated
Covenant Members of OMCC will be required to be enrolled in at least one class per quarter.
Covenant Members of OMCC who hold leadership positions will be required to be enrolled in School of Joseph in addition to the one class per quarter.
All Covenant Members of OMCC are required to complete School of Joseph and New Member Classes.
Quarterly Reports/Statement of Classes
For those students that register for class(es), will receive a quarterly report/statement of classes registered for the quarter. Report will include attendance, credits earned and indication of commencement eligibility.
Attendance
Students can only miss 2 classes due to work schedule, emergencies or personal reasons. A written account of absence should still be provided to instructor prior to absence when possible and/or after absence has occurred.
Certification of Completion
In order for students to be honored with a certificate of completion all class requirements of attendance, appropriate payment of fees and assignments must be complete.
Commencement
Those students who have met the requirements to receive certificate of completion will participate in the semi annual commencement ceremony. Ceremony package will include announcements, certificates, and pictorial package information. For those graduates of School of Joseph, packets will include School of Joseph seals and cords. Commencement package cost of $35 doesn’t include the pictorial option.
